6 months ago I closed this blog down because it was no longer safe or wise for me to use it as a place to process. I have spent the past 5 months in particular diving deep into school, rebuilding, and learning what safety looks like for the first time in my life. For the first time in 33 years of life, I am finally safe, and that has taken a lot to get used to.
I’m tired of writing about the past. I’m tired of having had to censor myself and having to cover things up and make things sound better than they were.
I’m about to head in to the second to last semester before getting my Associates of Science degree, and then transferring to my 4-year college to finish out my [double] bachelor(s). I’m ready to move on. I’ve permanently taken down my book because a lot of it is not the whole truth, and I’m not going to rewrite it again. It’s not worth it, and those who need to know the whole truth, know the whole truth, and that’s all that matters.
So that’s that. I’m walking away from this space. Maybe I’ll reboot something for writing publicly when I hit the point of needing to write for research once senior year of school or grad school comes around. But for now, it’s time to say goodbye.
